About Your Host William Pawluk, M.D., MSc

William Pawluk, M.D., MSc, is widely considered the foremost authority on the practical use of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy in North America. He is the author of “Supercharge Your Health with PEMF Therapy” and “Power Tools for Health.”

After spending more than 25 years watching his patients choose risky, expensive, or ineffective treatment options, he became interested in finding holistic options for pain management, sleep, anxiety, anti-aging, tissue healing, and general health. About Your Co-Host Marlene Mahipat, DC

Dr. Marlene Mahipat immigrated to the United States from Trinidad in 1990. With $300 and two suitcases, she forged a new trail for her future. She worked three jobs and attended school full-time. Her efforts were rewarded in 2001 when she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic.

In 2004, Dr. Mahipat launched Mediquest, which provides chiropractic services, physical therapy, and holistic medicine. The center uses genetic testing, hair, stool, and urine analysis, and detailed blood work to provide comprehensive care to its patients. 

In 2006, Dr. Mahipat founded Helping Orphans Prosper Everywhere (H.O.P.E.), a non-profit human services foundation that focuses on assisting children and families in need, and People Letting Every Animal Survive Euthanasia (P.L.E.A.S.E.), a non-profit foundation that focuses on keeping otherwise healthy animals from being euthanized.

About Your Co-Host Riz Lakhani, L. Ac., M. Ac

Dr. Lakhani received his Master of Acupuncture degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and studied orthopedics and sports medicine acupuncture extensively. He became a licensed acupuncturist in 2013, which he considered the fulfillment of a childhood dream to help people. 

While he loved his job in acupuncture, Dr. Lakhani noticed that there were health issues that acupuncture couldn’t adequately resolve. He discovered PEMF therapy in 2016 and immediately knew he wanted to offer it to his patients. Riz spent the next two years researching and preparing to get a high-intensity PEMF device for his clinic.
